Prestige Mauve Check Kids Formal Set
Lovely, but pricey
At 1499 pesos I hesitated a lot. Quality is clearly there and it'll work for a few more events, but kids grow so fast. Still, it's an outfit that lives on in photos, so no regrets.

3D Animal Friends Kids Cap
Sized up from 46 to 48
We had the bear ear cap in 46 and outgrew it, so I moved to this one in 48. Head is about 49cm and it sits with a little room, should last another season. 3D ears are as sturdy as before.

Brim is a bit short
Reordered, and the brim is still on the short side, so it does not shade the face much at midday. Best for morning and evening walks. Still love the mesh and the bear.

The ears never droop
Even on mesh, the ears keep their shape. A year with the first one and the ears still stood up, so I reordered, switching to pink this time. Hand wash only.

Bear intact after washing
Hand washed many times and the bear face embroidery never frayed, so I reordered. Passed the first one to my cousin's baby and got a new one. Band elasticity was still intact.

Neck opening tighter than before
Repeat purchase, but this batch has a narrower neck opening and my baby cries when I pull it over her head. Same fabric. It stretched a little after a few washes, but it is clearly not like my first one.

Cute Animal Ear Kids Cap
Worn every day all summer
Worn almost daily from March to August, and the ears still stand and the color is unchanged. I hand-wash when it smells sweaty and it dries fast. Can't think of a better first cap for a firstborn.

Twenty washes, still white
Worn and washed daily, still not yellowed and no pilling. Cheap white basics usually turn gray fast, but this one is different. Should be fine to pass to my third. 🙌
